Complaint & Whistleblower Procedures
EJOT is open to so-called whistleblowers and proceeds in accordance with the Whistleblower Directive of the European Union (EU Directive 2019/1937 of 26.11.2019 for the protection of persons who report violations of Union law) as well as the German Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz (HinSchG)).
EJOT also commits itself to respect human rights and the environment and to take responsibility for its own supply and value chain.
The central contact person at EJOT for indications and complaints regarding the aforementioned is Winfried Schwarz, who is also the Chief Compliance Officer and Human Rights Representative of EJOT. He is a self-employed lawyer and is not subject to the instructions of the EJOT management. He reports directly to the managing partner of the EJOT Group.
Mr. Schwarz can be reached by phone on +49 163 5290 860 and by email at compliance@ejot.com. This e-mail address is exclusively assigned to Mr. Schwarz and cannot be viewed by third parties.

This is the internal reporting office within the meaning of Section 12 HinSchG, which is occupied by an external person. Whistleblowers can also contact an external reporting office, e.g. the German Federal Office of Justice (Section 19 HinSchG) or the German Federal Cartel Office (Section 22 HinSchG).
It is possible to report violations of human rights or environmental obligations, other violations of the law and violations of EJOT's internal regulations, as well as just the sole suspicion of possible violations and/or risks.
For details of the complaints procedure – in particular the further procedure after receipt of your complaint – please see the EJOT Rules of Procedure for Complaints relating to the German Supply Chain Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG)).
